Alyssa had not been home from her mission too long when her and I decided to take a day and go to the Temple. It was a great day. The only problem with the two of us driving together is that we both like to talk and not pay attention. We missed our exit. It added an extra hour and a half to our drive. That is the second time I have done that when I was driving with her. I would love to say I won't do it again, but I can't make any promises:).
Britton tried out shot-put this last spring. I hate to say it but honesty is the best policy:). . .
I am glad he doesn't want to do this again. Very boring to watch. I think this year he will be running the mile instead.
Ashlynn and her friend Ava really wanted
to be in the art show this year. I thought the
poster they made was adorable.
EASTER 2017
Last year Riley was in our Easter pictures. This year he is
in Peru and Alyssa is in them. Life is so strange with older children.
This family that use to feel so big all the sudden is shrinking.
I was very happy I got them all to paint eggs
together this year.
Ashlynn is still at an age where everything is fun and magical
about the holidays.
The older ones take part, but more out of force from mom.
Daxon found ways to keep himself entertained.
It was a fun time.
I am thankful for times like these as a family:).
Some of our friends had a big evening
easter egg hunt this year. Ashlynn loved it.
Kids are the best. Everything makes them happy.
Perhaps that is why we are told to be like little children.
I love this picture of Ashlynn. She decided to try rollerblading.
She didn't love it for too long, but while she did it was adorable!
Love dying Easter eggs too! Things are more magical with smaller kids but we can find joy in holidays as they grow older too!
