Britton is graduating this year and will be leaving on a mission this summer.
JD and I felt we needed to take him and Ashlynn on a fun family trip.
Our goal was to create a memory of connecting and friendship for the two of them before he left.
As you can see dis-connecting them so that they remained friends turned out to be part of the trip as well:).
Ashlynn and Britton were both determined to have the window seat.
Lots of quality bonding time taking place in the airport.
On day one we arrived in Florida at around 10:30 PM.
We drove to our hotel to find a very unsatisfactory place.
I told JD I would sleep in the car before I slept in that hotel. We called around and found a Fairfield next to Disney that worked out perfectly. It had bunk beds for the kids and plenty of space for all of us. 
It was after midnight when we arrived at the hotel
which made it Brittons 18th birthday.
I can't believe we have another adult child!!
