Family visits

Last week, my sister Jana and her girls came to visit for a few days. 

They had PERFECT timing. The weather was beautiful

and we enjoyed a few fun days out at the pool. 

We loved having the change in routine and amazing company! 

It was the first time Jana and her girls had seen Alyssa's baby. 

I love that Luke and Hannah both have dinosaurs on their t-shirts.

As you can see from the pictures, Luke was pretty happy to meet them. 

Sunday, Madeline and Riley came to visit. They are so fun to have around. This week they bought a  new game called Bocce ball. We all had fun playing it, feeding the horses, playing cornhole, and putting our feet in the pool.

It was sooooo hot on Sunday, this made the rule we have to not swim on Sunday very difficult. 

We all love feeding apples and carrots to the neighbors horses. When you ask the horse if he would like an apple, he nods his head yes. It makes us all laugh. 

We are easily amused!

The lily pads are getting flowers on them and I love it. 

I think they are so adorable.

Alyssa and Jake got a new car on Sunday. This will make it much easier for Alyssa to come and visit:). She came to visit on Tuesday and Luke tried out the pool for the first time. 

At first, he did not love it but he warmed up to the idea. 

Ashlynn was a little angel and babysat while Alyssa and 

I ran to get things for Daxon's birthday. 

On Memorial Day, we took the kayaks and paddleboards to East Canyon reservoir. We had an enjoyable day. Ashlynn and Britton are more brave than I would like them to be at times. They set a goal to make it to the other side of the reservoir from where we were. I was unaware of the goal and when I could no longer see them I became nervous. I took the paddleboard to where they were and I was sure Ashlynn would be tired and not want to paddle any longer by the time I made it to her. I was wrong. She was as happy and energetic as ever. 

I finished my class for The Science of Well-Being. 

I loved the class and found it to be very interesting. 

I also love that I have a certificate from Yale!
