CHRISTMAS EVE DAY 2018

Christmas Eve day was so much fun this year. We woke up and went to Todd's and Wendy's house for breakfast and a day full of fun. Todd and Wendy make the best breakfast burritos in the world.

In fact, when they are in-charge of fixing the meal, it is
guaranteed to be amazing. They are fabulous cooks!

 Wendy had these adorable cookies
made for the special day.
The boys did not let the cuteness of these
cookies stop them from gobbling them up.

The little girls LOVED the hot cocoa bar.

The hot cocoa bar was set up fancy for everyone to enjoy.
It had EVERY topping you could ever
want on your hot cocoa, and then some.

It was so much fun to hang out
with family all day.
I was amazed how helpful Troy is to his parents.
He is such a great kid.

We Laughed, ate yummy food, and
smiled at this adorable little angel.  She loved these
glasses she found, and she just wore them around the house.
It was pretty funny.

Ashlynn loved hanging out with bear,
 and the kitty cats.

I used to think her obsession with animals was a phase that would pass.
It is a phase that grows stronger each and every year.
She can't wait to become a vet, and every animal is
in need of her love and attention:).

 GINGERBREAD HOUSES

The kids all had a blast making gingerbread houses.
We had SO much
Candy.

Wendy was mixing royal frosting FOREVER to make
sure everyone had enough.

We used hot-glue to put the houses together.
It holds together much better than frosting does.

I love watching all these cute
boys/cousins laugh when we get together.

We all had a fabulous day together.

My mom used to make Christmas Eve such
a special time for all of us.
She always put together a huge program.
Dinner was always her special chicken cordon bleu.
Wendy made my mom's chicken cordon bleu for lunch.
It was delicious!
She went above and beyond to make it a memorable day for everyone.
I am thankful for her hard work and for a Christmas Eve Day
that contained a little piece of my mom!
