This year we were headed out to Idaho for Christmas.
I was crazy busy and really did not want to decorate for Christmas.
This little girl would not hear of it!!
She was determined that we must have a tree.
We have always bought real trees,
I did not want it dying while we were in Idaho.
I also did not want to spend the money for a fake one.
One evening Ashlynn was determined that the world would
end, if we did not get a tree up.
We ran over to GoodWill and found this tree.
It was still in the original Hobby Lobby box and all.
We set it up, and all the world was made right in this little girls eyes!
I think this is so funny.
Alyssa is loving Bridgerland. When she was in the sixth grade
her teacher said, "Alyssa is really talented with Graphic design.
She has a knack for it."
Turns out she does.
She loves her job with the school and is doing great.
She also makes one of the cutest elves ever:).
The ward party this year was really fun.
I am sure Santa LOVED having all these big
kids coming to sit on his lap.
I admit it, I forced my children to take this picture.
The fact that they allowed themselves to be
forced, proves they are really great kids that really do, still believe:).
Right!
December 16th was this adorable couples 1 year anniversary.
I LOVE that Jakes mom and
sister set up this special dinner for them.
It is now December 23rd and we are headed to Idaho
to celebrate the Holidays.
We always drive straight through, it's a long
day, and this girl handled it like a champ.
This year we had to take two cars because we are not bringing
Riley home with us. If you listen closely you will hear crying in the background.
Just kidding, sort of.
He will be staying to attend Utah State.
Britton is not thrilled that Riley is
taking the extra car. We were not going
to fix the other car. However, it is in the shop.
I do NOT love driving to early morning seminary in these
bitter cold temperatures:).
bitter cold temperatures:).
The boys made it to Grandpa's house about
an hour and a half before we did.
They promised they were never going
above the speed limit. LOL
