I woke up early and had high expectations for the day. Since I'm not wanting to go to the gym, I decided to do one of my old high school workout videos. The kids were asleep when I finished so JD and I went for a 2 mile walk/run. It felt amazing to be outside soaking up the sunshine!
The kids were still snoozing when we got home. It was only around 8:30 but I was ready for the day to begin. The leprechaun stopped in for St. Pattys day. Britton was wondering why he didn't leave more treasures? Ashlynn thought it was funny when I explained they are on lockdown for a deadly virus. They were lucky to sneak this much stuff into our house:). After breakfast I made Britton go running. I want him to stay caught up with everything he has been accomplishing in track.
Our biggest news of the day was Daxon will be ending his mission a few months early due to the Corona virus. We are excited to have him home. I have been washing his clothes all day and beginning to think of all the things I need to do to get ready for his return. These missionaries coming home early have a somewhat pioneering situation. They will not be having a big get together right away, and depending on when church starts again, who knows when they will report?
We picked up homework from the school this morning. A total of 1 hour was accomplished, I hope. When the child is happy and doing legos quietly, do you really want to keep disturbing that to argue and fight over homework?
I listened to this book a lot today. I love books that make me think about something in a way I never have before. This book is fabulous, a must read or listen.
JD fixed the fence out back today and worked in the yard with Britton. For the most part we all were wanderers today, not sure what to do. We played some games, ate 3 meals together as a family (I can't remember the last time that happened)
Tonight found us all somewhat restless, if we are going to survive this we need a purpose for the day. I'm going to make a schedule for tomorrow, one with a purpose for the day.
Wish me luck!
