COVID-19 Day 24 Antelope Island

I have been waiting for the perfect day to go out to Antelope Island. Today was the day. As we went to drive into the park, signs were up that read,
OPEN TO DAVIS COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY!
This was not good. Part of Hooper is in Davis, our part is not. The lady at the gate hesitated a little when we presented her with our very sad faces, then she kindly told us we could go in this time.

I LOVE this island and I think I would have been
sad the rest of the day if we had been turned away.
One of the things I  love about pictures is when you look at them you remember happy memories.
All the bad moments disappear in a picture. I am thankful that our brains do that for us, it is such a wonderful gift. You would never know that Britton's back is towards the picture in the bottom right due to the fact that he was sick of hiking and mad that dad would not let him climb up the side of a rock that said to stay off. LOL

Ashlynn was up earlier than she has been in a long time.
She wanted to get outside to check on her bunnies. The relationship between Ashlynn and Britton during this break is very interesting. One second I am feeling blessed that they are bonding and becoming best friends. The next second I am begging them to please not speak to, or touch one another ever again.
Gotta love siblings!

Every year when we plant tomatoes I say I am going to buy the colorful cages. I never want to spend the extra money when I already have silver ones. With all the extra time I have on my hands, I decided to spray paint the cages. The silver ones are so boring, something about the colorful ones make me very happy.

If someone was to ask me what one of my favorite items are, it would be spray paint. JD gets a little anxious at times about what I will spray next. Whenever I find a project to re-do with spray paint, it makes me smile.
 I LOVE spray paint!

A few of the new M&M packages. I love the messages on them.
People are so creative.

I read this quote the other day and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

Wise words!
