COVID-19 Day 44 & 45 It's the little things

It is 5 PM and I am still in my pajamas.  Numerous times the thought has come to my mind to get dressed and accomplish something. The thought quickly passes and I decide, I am happy right where I am at. On a high note I have finished all of my homework today. I also watched an entire movie by 8 am. I talked to my sister, Trisha on the phone. For the third day in a row I haven't eaten any sugar. During this time in life, I feel it is important to celebrate the little things, LOL.  The kids are LOVING having the pool open. I feel like it is still a little on the cold side. I have never loved being cold, I am kind-of a whip that way!

Something in the pond was killing the fish. I know they are only goldfish, but it made me really sad. I found a video on you tube that said to take them out of the pond water and get them to different water. At around 9 pm I moved the fish out of the pond to this bucket.  JD thought it was foolish to try and save goldfish.  JD was laughing, but willingly came and helped shine the light on the pond so that I could get all the fish out. I could not find two of them and the next day they had died.  Out of the 10 fish, 6 survived.
The following day I see JD out side putting together a new contraption for the pond. He drained some of the old water and filled it with new. I LOVE that even when he thinks what I am doing is silly, when it really matters to me, it becomes important to him.

Love this instagram post!
Thankful these two have one another!
