COVID-19 Day20 How do you hear Him?

I listened to a podcast recently discussing the topic of stillness. It was about the recently released book, The power of stillness. I loved the podcast and the book sounds fabulous.  However, today as I was watching General Conference, in stillness, I discovered one of the reasons I struggle with stillness.
My mind becomes flooded with lists and lists of all the things I need to do.
One of the questions asked in conference was, "How do you hear Him?"
It is clear I hear Him in much the same way as Nephi did, with assignments he needed to be doing.
I am a little nervous for what will be added to my very long list tomorrow.
I guess I better get busy marking things off.
I better GO and DO!

Alyssa and Jake were able to come visit for a little bit today.
We went to the cemetery and took Luke on his first walk.
I pray this beautiful weather sticks around.

Britton decided he was in charge of the baby during the first session of conference.

Jakes brother Ryan came home from his mission the day Luke was born. Ryan and the rest of Jakes family has been in quarantine since and will be until Easter day. That is one of the difficult moments caused from this virus. I can't imagine how tough it must be for Jake and Ryan to not see each other when they are only a few hours away. Jakes family is all so close, this has to be extremely hard for all of them. I am excited for the day they all get to meet baby Luke and hold him. I think it will be a marvelous second sort of homecoming when Jake gets to hug his brother and let his family all hold his beautiful little baby boy.  They are never going to want to put him down.

We decided to have cheesecake for conference today.
It was delicious.

Ashlynn wanted to hold the baby whenever others would give her the chance.
We all love baby Luke, he is perfect.

Since we bought the game Cover your Assets it has become an everyday event at our home.  This is NOT necessarily a good thing. We are a little too competitive and it tends to cause GREAT contention in our home. For some odd reason we continue to come back for more of the chaos the game causes, everyday. We may need to get rid of the game, perhaps we could get rid of the children who cause the contention and keep the game. LOL
