Today was spent making signs,
cleaning out cupboards, and getting things ready for Daxon's return.
Man, I cannot begin to express the
anticipation and joyful feelings we are experiencing in this home.
We have all missed this boy a million, bazillion bits!
The fact that he was sick before he left, and he was not going to
see his brother for at least four years, caused our hearts to ache and our home to feel a little empty for a long time after he left. For at least the first month or so, every time we returned home someone would yell his name and then we would remember he was gone.
He, on the other hand, never missed a beat. From day one when I asked if he was doing okay or if he was homesick, he responded, "somedays, I really miss my hobbies."
The boy loves to fish.
LOL
He was admitted to BYU Provo, and I was sure he would accept. He has decided to follow his siblings and go to Utah State University instead. In my opinion, the idea of leaving his brother in Logan to go fishing without him, is simply not something he is willing to do:).
This was our family the last time we were all together.
Our good friend took family photos of us right before
Alyssa left on her mission in 2015.
This is how we have grown.
We have added three new wonderful members to our family.
We have almost made it to the finish line.
In four days we will all be back together again.

My heart is so full of gratitude, it just might burst !
