THIS WEEKS HAPPENINGS

We made Christmas cookies this week to take to people. However because the kids wanted to be SO much help Only a few were healthy enough to give away & we ate the rest.

Ashlynn loved frosting and making cookies. She thought she was in heaven. I thought man she is adorable and man I do not want to clean up that huge mess she is making.

We had to have the kids help in shifts. These 3 were the first helpers.

Ashlynn was the I'm not going anywhere this is too much fun helper.

These 4 were the second great helpers. I always dread making sugar cookies. They are so messy. But I love how much the kids love helping & how much they enjoy it. I guess that makes them worth the mess.

Earlier this week I bought this HUGE ball for the boys for Christmas so that they didn't have to keep using Ashlynn strawberry shortcake one. Well I forgot to hide it before they got home from school. It worked out great though. It was a beautiful day & kept the kids entertained forever.

You know you live in Idaho when it's only 34 degrees and you think it's warm enough to not wear a coat.

Earlier in the week when we had snow the boys played outside for HOURS.
This is Daxons snowball. He is pretty darn proud of it.
This is his brother thinking it's fun to break it to pieces. The parts that the weather hadn't already melted that is.

Ashlynn & Britton played on the trampoline forever the other day. They had so much fun It was super cute.
Riley had a band concert I was impressed how good the 6th graders sounded.
We tried a MILLION times to get a GOOD Christmas picture. We used the timer and man Ashlynn was going to make sure that at no time was she going to participate in this. So in this picture right before the timer went off we grabbed her over buy us as fast as possible and she kinda smiled. Not at the camera but hey what fun would that be.
This picture I thought was so funny. This is how I found her sleeping the other night. She would not go to bed without her tutu. She has about 6 stuffed animals under her. I'm not sure that can be very comfy.

SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE....

Mom can't breath for the first time, Thanks to me, she never stops movin yeah yeah. Thanks to you being gone I can usually whine & get
ANYTHING I WANT!
I have become obsessed with tearing things off the Christmas tree. I think it is such great fun.
I love how it drives
MOM CRAZY.

I have been playing in the snow for the first time ever.
I love it for about the first 5 minutes.

I think climbing ladders is great fun and have no idea the danger involved.

luckily my mom is smart enough to stay close by.

Hot chocolate after playing in the snow is a favorite pastime the last few days.

All the little cousins love Riley

This is me making a letter to send & making my very own drum with mom. I'm still not quite sure where to place the stickers.
This is my new drum. I think it's great fun.

I am a pro at eating spaghetti these days?

Troy was Baptised and it was really fun going out to Raft river for the baptism. Wendy had dinner and dessert it was great. The cousins love any opportunity to get together.

The boys are all still crazy as ever when we get together.

Ashlynn has learned how to say ALL of Jana's kids names. Yesterday she was walking around yelling gray gray it was pretty cute.

Alyssa is loving have so many aunts around.

This is a little glimpse at the downstairs tree. We decided to do it patriotic
in your honor.

Alyssa had her first choir concert. 1 1/2 hours long. WOW. It was fun to see all the new songs she is learning.

Our kids are getting too old. Britton was the only one who wanted to see Santa. Ashlynn wanted nothing to do with him & the rest the kids thought they were way too old. I told them it worked for me. Santa will be happy to only have to bring presents for 2 kids this year. HA HA

Britton also had a little concert. He was so happy that Grandma came. He mentioned how happy that made him about 100 times that night. Concerts at this age are always so adorable.

This is me
MISSING YOU LIKE CRAZY!!!!!!!
since you've been gone!

ARRIVING IN POCATELLO

The first day was filled spending great times with J.D.s family. J.D.s mom had a HUGE nice dinner and 6 of the 8 sisters joined in the fun.
J.D. was Loved by all. Under this mob of little children is where he could be found. I think he loved every minute of it.

The following night was spent spending time with my family at an all you can eat pizza place. As you can see ice cream was a favorite on the menu. My awesome sister then took ALL of my children home with her and J.D and I were able to get away for some very needed R&R in Idaho falls for a couple days.

We came home gathered the kids and left to Salt lake. We spent the next few days spending time with J.D. We loved visiting the Salt Lake temple visitor center. The peaceful spirit is always so strong their.

The older kids suggested the little kids do build a bears with dad. I think dad enjoyed this as much as the kids.

I was so impressed by the older kids who didn't once complain about what they weren't getting but were excited for the younger kids to have this special time from dad. J.D kissed the hearts before they put them in the bear and told them his heart was always with them no matter how far away he was.

I LOVE this picture of you hunny.

Then came the day we all wished would somehow never really come. We arrived at the airport where we had to say good buy.

At times I felt like I couldn't breath and that I was going to DIE for sure. Even now I can't comprehend how I will live a year without this man. My father in law brought my dad down to drive us home for which I am truly grateful. It helped my children & I hold ourselves together a little better leaving the airport than we would have been able to otherwise.

We miss you J.D. and are already counting down the days until your leave. My Dad & our other family members are taking extremely good care of us.

We love you too bits!

Our first NORMAL? week in Idaho

The kids started schoolBritton rode the bus to school for the first time ever. He felt pretty awesome.
Took Ashlynn to the petting zoo. She loved it

She gets to play with some of her little cousins on a daily basis.

We had the 1st snowfall and the kids were in heaven. First thing in the morning they were at the sledhill. News channel 8 showed up and thought these kiddos are crazy lets put them on the news. They thought that was pretty great.

The other day I look out back and see this basketball being jammed at someones head. I go out to tell the boys that is not appropriate & find they are having the time of their lives. They are playing TACKLE kickball with a BASKETBALL. The best part I didn't get on video but this gives the general idea.
